Implementasi Pembelajaran PAI untuk Siswa Tunagrahita di SLB BC Abdi Pratama Bojong Sari

This study explores the implementation of inclusive Islamic Religious Education (PAI) for students with intellectual disabilities at SLB BC Abdi Pratama Bojongsari. The research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing in-depth interviews and purposive sampling to gather data from PAI teachers. The findings reveal that the learning process is tailored to the students' unique needs, employing visual-contextual methods such as large images, flashcards, simple animated videos, and Islamic children's songs. For students with mild intellectual disabilities, activities include fine motor skills like matching cards and simulating simple worship practices. The evaluation system is formative, focusing on students' ability to recognize and articulate the Pillars of Islam and Faith. Despite significant progress, challenges such as limited specialized PAI teachers, inadequate learning media, and the need for curriculum adaptation persist. The study highlights the importance of adaptive learning strategies and recommends increasing teacher capacity, developing innovative media, and securing government support for specialized resources. These efforts are crucial to enhancing the quality of inclusive PAI for students with intellectual disabilities.
